Saima Bashir, Ph.D., is a Professor of Business Administration in the College of Business at Central State University. Her research focuses on agriculture economics, role of new firms, self-employment, higher education, poverty, and regional growth and development. Her work is published in such peer-reviewed journals such as Applied Economics, Journal of Developmental Entrepreneurship, American Journal of Economics, The Review of Regional Studies, and the IUP Journal of Entrepreneurship Development, among others. Several of Dr. Bashir’s grants as PI are funded. She also submitted many other grants as PI and Co-PI to several funding agencies. She also has experience in Economic Impact Studies, Data collection, etc.
